Veteran's Falls, one of Marinette County's southernmost waterfalls, has some rather intense hiking but is also very beautiful and enjoyable. It is contained within Veteran's Memorial Park in Crivitz, WI, and once in the park, simply follow the signs to get to the falls. A walking stick is highly recommended.

Waterfalls in Northern Marinette County. Northeastern Marinette County, Wisconsin has some of the finest whitewater in the Midwest. The Peshtigo and Menominee Rivers are the primary areas for kayaking and rafting. Most of the waterfalls are in the Crivitz, Amberg, and Pembine recreational areas, 50-80 miles north of Green Bay Wisconsin.

Marinette County is a real gem that has the best of both urban and rural life. As we went down the back roads, we saw ATVs and enjoyed the tracks that were less crowded. Also, all of the waterfalls were just a 5 to 15-minute walk from the parking lots, which was a nice touch.
